RYA Scotland and Highland & Moray Sailing work in partnership with Coaching Highland, to deliver a programme of coach education across the Highlands. Funding is available through Coaching Highland to support you, or someone you know, to develop your coaching and instructing skills – the Sailing Coach Action Plan (attached below) gives the details of activities that will be considered for funding, and you can download an application form from the Coaching Highland website: www.coachinghighland.co.uk. You will have to become a member of the site, which is free of charge and provides you with opportunities to develop your coaching skills by attending coach training, seminars and events.

We are keen to ensure that this funding is utilised fully on sailing in 2010/ 2011, so please do apply for funding, and should it be granted – make sure you claim it!
